  1. This is a (hopefully) working version of the bison program distributed
  2. on disk 4. Bison is a clone of the UNIX YACC program (a parser generator).

  4. There are probably (read: for sure) some bugs left in the code, but my
  5. overall impression is that the code is good and that bison works. This
  6. version handles both example A and C in Stephen Johnsons YACC manual.

  8. If you find any bugs or have some ideas about improvements you can either:
  9.     Write and tell me.
  10. Or better:
  11.     Fix it yourself and distribute the improved version.
  12.  
  13. YACC is described in a nice article in volume 2 of the UNIX manual.
  14. The article contains working examples.

  16. I have used Lattice 3.10. I do not have a Manx compiler so bison is not
  17. Manxified.
